PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory card capable of achieving improvement in performance by parallelizing the transfer of data recorded on sectors of a nonvolatile memory.SOLUTION: A memory card 102 includes a nonvolatile memory 11, an internal memory 8, a bus conversion part 9 and a media controller 10. The nonvolatile memory 11 is rewritable. The internal memory 8 divides and records data transferred from a host 101 into M (M is an integer of 2 or more) segments having N (N is a natural number) times of the minimum transfer unit of the nonvolatile memory 11 as a unit. The bus conversion part 9 outputs the data of 1/M of the minimum transfer unit in parallel from each of M segments recorded on the internal memory 8. The media controller 10 records together the data of 1/M belonging to different segments input in parallel from the bus conversion part 9 in the nonvolatile memory 11 as the data of one minimum transfer unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
