PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analog clock for on-vehicle use that can make reasonably even the luminance of its illuminated positions by indirectly illuminating its pointers and the like as much as possible.SOLUTION: An analog clock for on-vehicle use is equipped with a movement 5, a circuit board 6, a light guide plate 8, a circular dial 9 and pointers 10 including hour and minute hands. On the circuit board 6, a plurality of LEDs 7 for irradiating the light guide plate 8 with light are arranged, and the light guide plate 8 has an inlet for guiding light from the LEDs 7 into the light guide plate 8 and a ring-shaped projection 8b positioned on the peripheral edge of the dial 9 and projecting toward the front. When the LEDs 7 emit light, the light is let in through the inlet of the light guide plate 8 and let out of the ring-shaped projection 8b, thereby to illuminate the pointers 10 and the dial 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
