PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sound from being reproduced in an inappropriate mode.SOLUTION: An information processing device includes: a determination unit that determines a reproduction mode of sound in starting the reproduction of a content including the sound; and a reproduction unit that reproduces the sound included in the content in the reproduction mode determined by the determination unit. Thus, for example, a terminal device 100 as one example of the information processing device can prevent a sound included in a content from being output in an inappropriate sound in which the sound is suddenly output in a large sound volume.
