PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-processing device and an image forming system capable of suppressing collision thereof when an alignment member and a tray move to initial positions.SOLUTION: The post-processing device includes a first tray configured to be elevated between an initial position and a raised position higher than the initial position, a plurality of alignment members for aligning a plurality of printing media arranged on the first tray, a first sensor for detecting whether the first tray is at its initial position, a second sensor for detecting whether each of the plurality of alignment members is at its initial position, and control means for determining the order of moving the first tray and the plurality of alignment members based on the outputs of the first sensor and the second sensor when the first tray and the plurality of alignment members are moved to their respective initial positions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
