PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article transport device which can lift up and down plural lifting bodies by a single lifting guide mast, and which has a ladder which allows a user to easily lift up and down, when any of plural lifting bodies is broken.SOLUTION: An article transport device comprises: a lifting guide mast 5 standing along a height direction; and plural lifting bodies for transporting an article, which are guided by the single lifting guide mast 5 and lift up and down. The lifting guide mast 5 comprises a columnar part having a polygonal columnar contour, and plural lifting guide faces M1, M2 formed on side faces of the columnar part and extending along the height direction. The lifting bodies lift up and down along respective plural lifting guide faces M1, M2. A ladder 6 which allows an operator to lift up and down along each of the lifting guide faces M1, M2 is provided on each of the plural lifting guide faces M1, M2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
