PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water repellent composition capable of providing a surface of a base material of a porous housing material such as porous inorganic material such as a concrete housing material or an organic material such as wood excellent in and maintaining water repellency for long time.SOLUTION: There is provided a repellent composition for adding repellency to a surface of a base material of porous inorganic material or organic material and containing decyl trimethoxysilane, isoparaffin and silica particle. Further there is provided a repellent composition containing trifluoro propyltrimethoxysilane, the decyl trimethoxysilane is 10 to 25 mass% of the repellent composition, the trifluoro propyltrimethoxysilane is blended at 0.50 to 10.0% based on the amount of the decyl trimethoxysilane.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
