PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door check device for a vehicle for ensuring complete closing the vehicle door even when an operational force exerted on the vehicle door for closing the vehicle door is small.SOLUTION: A door check device 100 for a vehicle includes: a long rod member 2 having one end 21 and the other end 22; rollers (41, 42) moving in a longitudinal direction of the rod member 2 on surfaces (23, 24) of the rod member 2, when a vehicle door DR is opened/closed; compression coil springs (61, 62) providing elastic force to the rollers (41, 42) in a direction to press the rollers (41, 42) against the surfaces (23, 24) of the rod member 2; and rotor members (81, 82) connected to the roller (41, 42) so as to rotate coaxially with the rollers (41, 42) and having a moment of inertia greater than a moment of inertia of the rollers (41, 42).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
