PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic driving support system, an automatic driving support method, and a computer program that enable appropriate restoration to automatic driving control at a vehicle that has passed through a branch point by travel based on manual driving.SOLUTION: In the case where travel by automatic driving control is performed in an automatic driving section where the automatic driving control of vehicles is permitted, if there is a branch point satisfying a prescribed condition forward of the travel direction of a vehicle, handover from automatic driving control to manual driving by the driving operation of a user is performed.
