PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas discharge structure for preventing leakage of gas occurring from a battery into a passenger compartment.SOLUTION: The gas discharge structure has a battery case which is located in the passenger compartment and closed while a cylindrical cell is accommodated therein, a hollow tunnel member 33 which extends horizontally at the outside of the passenger compartment and intercommunicates with the outside of a vehicle, and a drain hose 40 which intercommunicates with the inside of the battery case at one end side of the drain hose 40 and also intercommunicates with the inside of the tunnel member 33 at the other end side of the drain hose 40, whereby gas occurring from a battery is discharged to the outside of the vehicle. An opening 52 at the other end of the drain hose 40 is oriented to a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the tunnel member 33 and also to the horizontal direction. The connection position of the drain hose 40 to the tunnel member 33 is offset to the opening 52 side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
