PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an address recognition device, a segmentation device, a general address recognition device, and an address recognition method that are capable of suppressing the erroneous determination that an address of a sender described on an object is erroneously determined to be an address of a receiver.SOLUTION: An address recognition device of an embodiment includes an address recognition section and a non-receiver determination section. The address recognition section acquires, on the basis of the image of an object, address information described on the object. The non-receiver determination section determines, on the basis of a comparison result between information on first address information that is address information acquired by the address recognition section at a prescribed timing and information on second address information that is address information acquired by the address recognition section before the first address information, whether or not the first address information is a non-destination address that is not an address of a receiver.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
