PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve effects of inhibiting coating film defects such as blistering, cracking, and peeling, which occur at the time of bake-drying.SOLUTION: An aqueous damping coating composition comprises an aqueous resin emulsion and an inorganic filler as main components, and further a melting material. When such an aqueous damping coating composition is coated on a specified part and heated by bake-drying, drying and curing of the coating proceeds. By adding a melting material having a melting point in a range of 50°C to 95°C, the melting material melts by heating and a water vapor, which causes coating film defects such as blistering, cracking, and peeling, is discharged smoothly from the coating film surface, thus inhibiting the coating defects such as blistering, cracking, and peeling.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
