PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-containing hydraulic fluid that inhibits acid generation, suppresses a decrease in pH, and has excellent oxidation stability, when used for the long term, and moreover, prevents such effects from being greatly impaired even if a water-containing hydraulic fluid comprising the acids generated from the degradation.SOLUTION: A water-containing hydraulic fluid comprises one or more compounds of 0.01 mass%-1 mass% in total, the compounds selected from the compound group consisting of a C1-C3 aliphatic monocarboxylic acid, a C2-C5 aliphatic dicarboxylic acid and a C6 aliphatic tricarboxylic acid, and a carboxylic acid having a hydroxy group bound thereto.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
