PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the yield of ashless coal.SOLUTION: A solvent heated by a heater 5 is fed into an extraction tank 6 through a solvent feed tube 11, and further, a slurry obtained by mixing coal and a solvent is fed into the extraction tank 6 by a slurry feed apparatus 14. In this way, the heated solvent and the slurry are mixed in the extraction tank 6.
