PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor with which it is possible to shorten the length in the longitudinal direction of a sensor element and improve the heat resistance of an electrode spring.SOLUTION: A gas sensor 1 comprises a sensor element 2, a plurality of electrode springs 3 coming into contact with the electrodes 21A, 21B of the sensor element 2, an insulator 4 for holding the plurality of electrode springs 3, and a plurality of lead wires 5 connected to each electrode spring 3. Each electrode spring 3 has a holding part 31 held by the insulator 4 and a contact part 32 folded back in an inclined shape from the holding part 31 toward the tip side in the longitudinal direction L and coming into contact with the electrodes 21A, 21B in an elastically deformed state. Each electrode spring 3 is disposed in the gas sensor 1 in such a way that a folded part 33 between the contact part 32 and the holding part 31 is disposed at the base end position of the contact part 32 and directed to the base end side in the longitudinal direction L.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
