PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that common jerky (dried meat) which a pet likes cannot be bitten by an old dog and puppy, whereas jerky which has been processed to contain much moisture and be soft can be given to them as food only right after processing but is not suitable for long-term storage and distribution on the market.SOLUTION: A material, which is meat including fish, is dried to a residual moisture value in the range of 28-30%, the material is enclosed in a predetermined retort pouch, and it is subjected to retort sterilization to make a product. This makes it possible to distribute the product on the market as an enclosed product in which microbes are not contained, and allows the old dog and puppy to easily bite and eat the product by giving the product to them as pet food just the way it is right after opening the retort pouch.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
