PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to adjust suitable gap according to a temperature with a simple mechanism.SOLUTION: A gap adjustment mechanism is equipped with a gap adjustment member 41 which so adjusts a gap between a nozzle face of an ink jet head 31 for discharging an ink onto a printing medium and a transportation passage 29 of the printing medium as to expand and contract the gap in at least a direction of adjusting the gap according to a peripheral temperature. Thus, a thermal expansion member 42 autonomously performs gap adjustment according to the peripheral temperature, whereby a suitable gap according to a temperature can be adjusted with a simple constitution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
