PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance efficiency of work for rolling a thin film sheet material into a roll shape, and to prevent deterioration of recovery efficiency.SOLUTION: An opening 17 is formed at a position which a tip of a thin film sheet material 85 faces which is delivered from a pinch roller 3. A recovery device for a thin film sheet material includes: a cylindrical guide cylinder 5 for guiding the thin film sheet material entering from the opening along an inner peripheral surface; and a drive mechanism 9 for supporting and rotationally driving a rotary member 7 arranged inside the guide cylinder. The guide cylinder 5 is divided into an upper cylindrical wall 19 and a lower cylindrical wall 21 along an axial direction of the guide cylinder 5, and connected by a hinge 23 rotatably. The rotary member 7 comprises a plurality of arms 29 arranged by extending inside the inner peripheral surface. The drive mechanism 9 includes: a support member 37 for supporting the plurality of arms 29 in a circumferential direction of a shaft core of the guide cylinder 5 in a rotatable manner; an advancing/retracting mechanism for allowing the plurality of arms to advance in the guide cylinder or retract from the guide cylinder by advancing/retracting the support member along the shaft core; and an opening/closing mechanism for opening/closing the plurality of arms in a radial direction of the shaft core.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
