PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermofluorescent material usable as a two-dimensional radiation detection device that has high sensibility and resolution, a broad dynamic range, high fastness, and can be easily and simply produced and easily handled.SOLUTION: A laminate-type thermofluorescent material is composed of a substrate layer and a thermofluorescent layer formed on the substrate layer. The substrate layer is made of ceramic and has a thickness of 0.1 mm or more. The thermofluorescent layer is produced by coating the substrate layer with an inorganic-compound paint followed by firing. The coating amount of the inorganic-compound paint is 0.001 g/cmor more and less than 1.0 g/cmexpressed by the amount of the inorganic compound contained in the inorganic-compound paint.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
