PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine that can maintain an aesthetic appearance of an outer case at a high level.SOLUTION: An outer case (1) of a washing machine has a top face panel (101) arranged above a water tub and an operation panel (102) in which an operation part (125) operated by a user is arranged on an outer face, the operation part (125) is arranged so as to be located on a front side of the top face panel (101), and a rear end part (121) is located below a front end part (111) of the top face panel (101). One of the front end part (111) of the top face panel (101) and the rear end part (121) of the operation panel (102) has at least one insertion hole (127) opened in a vertical direction.
