PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium processor adjustment method for adjusting a medium processor so as to form a punch hole precisely on a card medium at a low cost.SOLUTION: A medium processor adjustment method includes the steps of: conveying a reference medium 25 by a conveyance distance L3 initially set so that a reference punch hole 25a may reach an arrangement position of a punch blade 5, on the basis of a position of an end of the reference medium 25 detected by a medium end detection mechanism 7, and stopping it; calculating a conveyance distance L2 of the reference medium 25, between the stop position of the reference medium 25 and a central position of the reference punch hole 25a detected from the start to the end of detection by a punch hole detection mechanism 8 when the reference medium 25 is conveyed in one direction; and calculating an adjustment value, on the basis of a difference ΔL between the conveyance distance L2 and a distance L3 which is between the punch blade 5 and the punch hole detection mechanism 8 in the conveyance direction of the reference medium 25, and storing it in storage means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
