PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire molding method simultaneously preventing occurrence of a dent in a ply joint part and a bulge in a sidewall joint part to improve the appearance quality of a tire.SOLUTION: A tire molding method includes a process of disposing a ply joint part 11 and a sidewall joint part 21 at the positions corresponding to each other in a tire circumferential direction when attaching a tire member to a first cylindrical former. The overlapping length of a ply 1 in the ply joint part 11 is 3 to 7 mm in a tire circumferential direction, and a sidewall 2 is stuck so that the apex of an obtuse angle part 23 in a sidewall-sticking tip part 24 positions outside the ply joint part 11. The overlapping length from the apex of the obtuse angle part 23 in one end of the sidewall 2 to the top of the other end of the sidewall 2 is 0 to 5 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
