PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid injection device capable of suppressing a reduction in printing speed even when printing a plurality of images overlapping with one another.SOLUTION: A printer comprises: a carriage 33 having a print head 31 injecting UV ink onto a medium and a first irradiation section 61 and a second irradiation section 62 capable of irradiating the medium with ultraviolet rays; a first drive section moving the carriage 33 in a main scanning direction X; a second drive section moving the carriage 33 in a sub-scanning direction Y; and a third drive section 70 capable of changing relative positions among a first irradiation position, a second irradiation position and the print head 31 in the sub-scanning direction Y. The third drive section 70 causes one irradiation position of the first irradiation position and the second irradiation position and the print head 31 to be arranged so as to overlap with each other in the main scanning direction X, and causes the print head 31 to be arranged closer to a movement direction than the other irradiation position of the first irradiation position and the second irradiation position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
