摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve failure detection accuracy.SOLUTION: A failure detector comprises: a stored data storage section 30; unit-space generation means 13 that extracts sensor values of a unit space to be used in an MT system from the stored data storage section, and that generates the unit space by using condition sensor values which influence the other sensor values and the sensor values that are not influenced by the condition sensor values and using, for the other sensor values, values obtained by making the other sensor values dimensionless by the condition sensor values or values corrected by the condition sensor values; signal-space generation means 14 that generates a signal space that is a set of diagnosis data to be used in the MT system, by using the condition sensor values and the sensor values which are not influenced by the condition sensor values as they are and using, for the other sensor values, the values obtained by making the other sensor values dimensionless by the condition sensor values or the values corrected by the condition sensor values when a plurality of sensor values to be detected is input; and determination means 16 that compares a distance which represents a relation between the generated unit space and the generated signal space with a predetermined threshold, and that determines which sensor possibly fails.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
