PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a device from returning from a power-saving mode on detecting a person passing by the device using a human detection sensor with more inexpensive constitution than before.SOLUTION: There is provided a power supply control device that controls power supply respective device parts to be controlled, and that comprises an object detection part which outputs a value changing with detection states of the detection objects, and a power supply control part which controls power supply to the respective device parts according to the output value output from the object detection part. The object detection part outputs the output value which has a larger difference from a reference value as an output value in a state in which the detection object does not move in a detection range as the detection object is closer to the device, and the power supply control part controls the power supply to the respective device parts based upon a period from the point of time when the difference between the reference value and the output value becomes larger than a predetermined first threshold to the point of time when the output difference becomes larger than a second threshold larger than the first threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
