PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device which determines a reference position of position control and which allows improvement of position accuracy regardless of the installation state of the device.SOLUTION: A drive device having a driven unit comprises driving means for driving the driven unit, discrimination means for discriminating the installation state of the drive unit, setting means for setting a driving direction of the driving means according to a discrimination result of the discrimination means, and determination means for determining a position where the driving means is driven to the direction set by the setting means by a predetermined amount as a reference position for controlling the driving means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
