PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve suppression of variation of discharge condition.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device 10 has: a base plate 20; plural pressure chambers 11 which are provided on a first face side of the base plate 20 and are two-dimensionally arranged; a discharge port 12 provided corresponding to each of the plural pressure chambers 11; pressure generation means for discharging a liquid from the discharge port; a liquid discharge head 7 having a flow channel connected to the pressure chamber 11, a common liquid chamber provided on a second face side of the base plate and plural feed passages which are provided between adjacent pressure chambers 11 and are connected to the common liquid chamber; transfer means 2 for relatively transferring the liquid discharge head 7 and a body to be recorded; and driving means 5 for driving the pressure generation means. The flow channel and the feed channel corresponding to each of plural pressure chambers 11 adjacent to the feed passages are connected to each other, and the driving means outputs driving signals to the pressure generation means corresponding to each of the plural pressure chambers 11 connected to the feed channels at different timings.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
