PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control system capable of enhancing a reduction in the amount of NOx.SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control system includes an exhaust passage 10 in which exhaust gas flows, a selective reduction type catalyst 43 located in the exhaust passage 10, an addition valve 36 located upstream of the selective reduction type catalyst 43 in the exhaust passage 10, a connection passage 38 which is connected to the addition valve 36 and in which urea water flows to the addition valve 36, and a burner 20 which is located upstream of the addition valve 36 in the exhaust passage 10 and in which a combustion space 28 for fuel is part of a space in the exhaust passage 10.
