PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for easily reducing pieces of information of a plate-like object, which are intermixed in a time waveform measured by a reflection measurement device.SOLUTION: A plate-like object 100 used on a measurement device for measuring a time waveform of a terahertz wave comprises: a sample contact part 121 having a first face 130 to which the terahertz wave is incident, and a second face 131 facing the first face and bringing a sample into contact therewith during measurement; and a separation part 113 having the first face and a third face 120 facing the first face. The separation part is configured so that, the time waveform obtained by radiating the terahertz wave to the separation part by the measurement device includes only a time waveform of the terahertz wave reflected by the first face, or, time difference between a detection time of the terahertz wave reflected by the first face and a detection time of the terahertz wave reflected by the third face, is longer than time difference between a detection time of the terahertz wave reflected by the first face and a detection time of the terahertz wave reflected by the second face.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
