PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving object detection device capable of minimizing a delay of the detection of a moving body and the erroneous detection of the moving body.SOLUTION: First areas 51 and second areas 52 are demarcated in an image captured by an on-vehicle camera. The second areas 52 overlap the first areas 51 and are smaller than the first areas 51. A feature point extraction part identifies feature points 53 not less than a second threshold larger than a first threshold within the first areas 51 in accordance with a variation in the image of a moving object M. A detector outputs a detection signal of the moving object M when identifying feature points 53 not less than the first threshold within the second areas 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
