The present invention relates to a card provided with a fingerprint recognition function. The present invention includes: an owner information storage unit storing fingerprint information of a card owner and information including service information set in advance in association with the card owner; a fingerprint recognition unit for recognizing the fingerprint information of the card owner; a user authentication unit authenticating legitimacy of the card user as a user by comparing the card user fingerprint information recognized by the fingerprint recognition unit to the card owner fingerprint information stored in the owner information storage unit; and a control unit performing a control such that the card user authenticated by the user authentication unit is provided with a service in accordance with the service information stored in the owner information storage unit. According to the present invention, whether or not the card user has legitimate right to use is checked based on a fingerprint recognition function, and thus illegal card use is prevented. In a case where the registered card user is a disabled person, the information relating to transactions using the card can be provided in a customized way. |
