The image forming device comprises: a fax unit configured to receive fax data; a communications interface unit configured to search for connectable control points; an address management unit configured to select a control point for notifying fax receiving information among the searched control points; and a DLNA stack unit configured to notify the selected control point of the fax receiving information through the communications interface unit.
