THE AUTOMATIC EXTRA CHARGE SYSTEM USING TAXI NAVIGATION MODULE

The present invention relates to automatic extra charge system for a charge settlement device using auxiliary taxi navigation equipment, and more specifically to a technology configured such that after a passenger boards the taxi with auxiliary taxi navigation equipment that displays an exact location, extra charges are automatically applied to the charge settlement device in case the taxi moves outside the boundary of the competent administrative district, and extra charges are automatically cancelled in case the taxi enters the boundary of the competent administrative district. The automatic extra charge system for a charge settlement device using auxiliary taxi navigation equipment with a tri-axis accelerometer module and a GPS module according to the present invention comprises: the auxiliary taxi navigation equipment equipped in one side of the center fascia of a taxi; and a taxi charge settlement device connected to the auxiliary taxi navigation equipment. The auxiliary taxi navigation equipment comprises: a GPS receiving module for transmitting location information to a control server; a tri-axis accelerometer module for acquiring the moving direction and acceleration information of the taxi; a DB module containing competent administrative district boundary information and map information; and a communication modem module for mutually communicating with the control server. The taxi charge settlement device is always connected to the auxiliary taxi navigation equipment in a wireless/wired state, and comprises an operation module containing algorithm for calculating an operation charge according to a travel distance by automatically applying or canceling an extra charge rate according to the location information transmitted from the auxiliary taxi navigation equipment.
