PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for selecting a jointless band by which a jointless band can be selected with an excellent accuracy, and a method for manufacturing the jointless band.SOLUTION: A method for selecting a jointless band includes: a cameron width measurement process in which a width of a cameron, which is obtained by covering a tire fabric for a tire cord with a rubber and splitting a rolled long TOP cloth; a jointless band width measurement process in which a width of a jointless band, which is obtained by splitting the cameron; a classification range selection process in which a classification range of a width of the jointless band corresponding to the measured width of the cameron is selected from a previously prepared table in which a width of the cameron and a classification range of a width of the jointless band are associated with each other; and a selection process in which the selected jointless band is selected on the basis of the selected classification range and the measured width of the jointless band.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
