PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sill groove foreign object detection device which performs detection of a foreign object caught in a guide groove of a sill, and specification of the location thereof.SOLUTION: An elevator sill groove foreign object detection device includes: a plurality of foreign object detection body holding mechanisms 5 which are provided at a lower part of a door panel 2, in which one part is inserted in a guide groove 4 in a movable manner, and which support foreign object detection bodies 8 for riding over a foreign object 17 caught in the guide groove 4 in a vertically movable manner; a plurality of detectors 13 for detecting an elevating action of the foreign object detection bodies 8 when riding over the foreign object 17; a storage unit 18 for storing a foreign object location detection pattern table which consolidates a relationship between a signal output pattern from the detectors 13 according to opening/closing of the door panel 2 and the location of the foreign object 17; and a determination unit 19 for determining the location of the foreign object 17 by inputting the foreign object detection signal from the detectors 13 according to the opening/closing of the door panel 2 and by comparing it with the foreign object location detection pattern table.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
