PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus, even when a focal length is apparently changed due to air fluctuation, capable of capturing a favorable image in focus.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 100 including an imaging lens 105 and an image pick-up device 107 for imaging a subject, includes: a focus drive circuit 126 for driving the imaging lens 105; sub pixels 201 and 301 that restrict a luminous flux of an optical image of a subject entering respective pixels of the image pick-up device 107 to a luminous flux from a specific exit pupil region of the imaging lens; a defocus calculation unit that calculates a defocus amount using a deviation amount of a captured image obtained from a plurality of exit pupil regions divided by the sub pixels; and a restriction unit 121 that restricts a travel of the imaging lens 105 when a variation of a first defocus amount at a specific point A set by a user when capturing an image of the subject is a prescribed threshold A or more and a variation of a second defocus amount at the point A to a point E including the specific point A is a prescribed threshold B or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
