PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound source separation device which can improve the accuracy to estimate the sound source direction even in a noisy environment, and a method thereof.SOLUTION: A sound source separation device 1 comprises: a sound collection part 30; an imaging part 10; a sound signal evaluation part 42 which evaluates a recorded sound signal; an image signal evaluation part 22 which evaluates a recorded image signal; a selection part which selects whether a sound source direction is estimated based on the recorded sound signal, or the sound source direction is estimated in relation to the recorded image, from an evaluated result of the sound signal evaluation part 42 and the image signal evaluation part 22; a man position estimation part 24 which estimates information indicating a speaker's direction from the image by utilizing information indicating the estimated sound source direction based on the recorded sound signal; a sound source direction estimation part 44 which estimates the sound source direction in relation to the sound signal by utilizing information indicating the estimated sound source direction based on the recorded image; and a sound source separation part 45 which extracts a sound signal corresponding to the sound source direction from the sound signal based on the estimated sound source direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
