PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery cell and an air electrode material which enable the increase in initial output.SOLUTION: A fuel battery cell 10 comprises an air electrode 14. The air electrode includes: a main phase including, as a primary component, a perovskite type oxide expressed by the general formula ABOand including at least Sr at A site; and a second phase including, as primary components, a strontium sulfate and a strontium chromate.
