PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of engine durability by limiting a degree in which the engine rotates toward a negative side during an EV travel.SOLUTION: During an EV travel, in a case where a rotation speed Nm2 of a motor MG2 decreases, resulting in a rotation speed change rate dNm2/dt reaching under a given value N1 in a negative value (S120, S130), three-phase of an inverter 41 for driving a motor MG1 is turned on (S140). This generates torque in a direction of suppressing rotation of the motor MG1, suppressing a degree in which the engine 22 is rotated toward the negative side (in reverse). This in turns makes it possible suppress deterioration in endurance caused by a degree in which the engine 22 is rotated toward the negative side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
