PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus in which detection means for detecting sheets is appropriately arranged in the recording apparatus with a plurality of medium accommodation parts.SOLUTION: A recording apparatus is provided with: a recording head which performs recording to a recorded medium; a plurality of medium accommodation parts which accommodate the recorded medium; a first base substrate part provided on one side on both sides of the medium accommodation parts in a direction crossing a feeding direction of the recorded medium; a second base substrate part provided on the other side; a bottom plate which connects the first base substrate part with the second substrate part, and is located at a lower part than the plurality of medium accommodation parts in an apparatus height direction; and detection means which is provided on the bottom plate, and detects presence/absence of the recorded medium in at least either medium accommodation part of the plurality of medium accommodation parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
