摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode material for a lithium ion secondary battery which shows high capacity, high-speed charge and discharge characteristics, and excellent cycle characteristics, and which is excellent in safety, and also to provide a method of manufacturing the negative electrode material for the lithium ion secondary battery, and the lithium ion secondary battery using the negative electrode material.SOLUTION: A cell active material 2 whose particle diameter Dis 1 μm or less is embedded in a graphite particle 1 whose surface area is 9 m/g or more and less than 30 m/g. The graphite particles in each of which the cell active material 2 is embedded, are bonded and superposed through binders 3, thereby constituting a base unit 4. A negative electrode material for a lithium ion secondary material is constituted by a spherical composite particle formed by laminating the base units 4 through the binder 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
