PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion apparatus and a boiler, which can be operated safely for a long time without using electric power and with little discharge of harmful substances to the atmosphere.SOLUTION: A boiler includes: a gasification furnace for pyrolyzing organic fuel to generate carbide and dry distillation gas; a gas combustion furnace for secondarily burning the dry distillation gas; a heat exchanger; and an exhaust duct. The gas combustion furnace has a function as a pilot burner for secondary combustion for burning the organic fuel therein and a function for sucking the dry distillation gas by a draft of the gas generated through the secondary combustion. The gasification furnace also has a function as a high-temperature gas supply source by continuously burning the carbide generated therein after completion of the secondary combustion. Therefore, the necessity to operate a blower and a burner by using electric power like conventional cases is eliminated, and the gasification furnace can be operated to stably supply hot air for a long time and to serve as a boiler.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
