FIELD: protection means.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protection of human and equipment from armor-piercing bullets and missiles, in particular, to used for that purpose composite armored structures. Composite armor comprises crushing-deflecting layer and arresting layer made from strong material. Crushing-deflecting layer is made in the form of two panels consisting of separate ceramic elements. One panel consists of elements in the form of regular hexagonal prism with concave side faces relative to vertical axis and connected to a binding solution on base of polymers. Second panel consists of ceramic elements of cylindrical shape, arranged vertically. Element height of cylindrical shape and height of the element in the form of hexagonal prism is from 4 to 8. Diameter of inscribed circle of the base element in the form of hexagonal prism and diameter of the base element of cylindrical shape ranges from 1.8 to 1.9. Ceramic element of cylindrical form with base and side panels of ceramic elements in the form of regular hexagonal prism is flat, and the other base convex spherical shape.EFFECT: higher reliability of the armour with different ballistic effects.3 cl, 3 dwg |
