FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, forensic medical examination. When investigating corpses with cut wounds, stab wounds, and gunshot wounds in breast, access is formed. Separating out soft tissues of chest and removal of ribs is performed on intact side. Part of sternum is removed with preservation of sternal and clavicular interconnections.EFFECT: method provides more effective assessment due to preservation of wound channel on injured chest side in intact form; it can minimise risk of breast tissue displacement during post-mortem examination, preserve true topography of wound channel.1 cl, 5 dwg
