FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cardiology and endocrinology, and concerns prediction of developing type two diabetes mellitus in patients with metabolic syndrome. That is ensured by determining content of aspartate aminotransferase (x), end systolic volume of left ventricle (x), final diastolic left ventricular volume (x), content of alanine aminotransferase (x), systolic blood pressure (x), size of left atrium (x), content of triglycerides (x), cortisol (x), sugar in blood serum two hours after meals (x), patient's age (x), patient's body weight index (x), presence or absence of patient's history and diabetes of second type (x) to calculate stratification risk index (G)(x)=0.27·x+0.28·x+5.03·x+0.25·x+0.12·x+1.93·x-3.13·x+0.28·x+1.05·x+0.17·x+0.06·x+0.59·x. If G(x) exceeds 88.1, risk of diabetes is considered to be high, otherwise as insignificant.EFFECT: method provides patient-specific prediction of risk of diabetes mellitus taking into account individual data of each specific patient metabolic syndrome.1 cl, 2 ex |
