FIELD: measurement equipment.SUBSTANCE: installation for testing by ultrasound by immersion of a tubular part with a cylindrical wall (2), completed by transverse end flanges (3, 4), comprises ultrasonic transducers emitter (21) and a receiver (22), driven in contact with liquid interaction, intended for installation on one line respectively on both sides of a flange to be inspected, and a structure (23) as a U-shaped or C-shaped bracket (24), at ends of opposite branches (26, 27) of which there are respectively located transducer-emitter (21) and transducer -receiver (22), located on one line relative to each other to form space (32) between them for relative passage of flange (3, 4) to be inspected, and a base (28) which is pivotally mounted to end of movable control arm (25), wherein it comprises a box for immersion (36), in which there is a structure (23) in form of an arm (24) on which are located transducers (21, 22) and which contains a liquid for interaction of converters, wherein said box has a corresponding shape, so as to be located on flange (3, 4) to be inspected, and includes two parts (37, 38) adapted to engage with and transverse flange and adjacent cylindrical wall of tubular part.EFFECT: enabling complete control of separate parts of tubular components, reducing overall dimensions of installation.7 cl, 9 dwg |
