A method for recognising manipulation on at least one vehicle network of a vehicle comprises the following steps: determining an identification feature characterising the current vehicle network configuration of at least one vehicle network digital, comparing the said identification feature of at least one vehicle network with reference information to establish manipulation, adapting a function of at least one vehicle network as the function of the result of the comparison, such that operational reliability/safety is ensured, activating a regular control mode if no manipulation on at least one vehicle network is recognised, or activating an operationally safe control mode if manipulation on at least one vehicle network is recognised.EFFECT: providing vehicle network safety.27 cl, 3 dwg |
