FIELD: agriculture.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to plant physiology. Device comprises unit (1) for measuring illumination, unit (6) for setting the time of irradiation, first (8) and second (13) adders and indication unit (14). Additionally, the device includes unit (2) for measuring mass of the leaf of the plant, unit (3), leaf area measurement unit (4) fixing the time of occurrence of the next sheet on the plant, unit (5) to set photoperiod, first (7) and second (9) multiplier units, subtraction unit (10), first (11) and second (12) dividers. Output of unit (4) fixing the time of occurrence of the next sheet on the plant is connected to the first input of subtraction unit (10), the second input is connected to the output of unit (6) for setting the time of irradiation, and output - to the first input of second unit (9), multiplier second input connected to the output of unit (3) for leaf area measurement, and output-with input of second unit (13) of adder whose output is connected to the first input of the second unit (12) division second input of which is connected to the output of the first (8) adder with its input connected to the output of (2) for measuring mass of the leaf plants, and output - to the first input of the first division unit (11). Output of unit (1) for measuring illumination is connected to the first input of first unit (7), multiplier second input connected to output of (5) to set photoperiod, and output - to the second input of first unit (11) dividing the output of which is connected to the input of indication unit (14).
