FIELD: physics.SUBSTANCE: claimed system comprises optical sensor to transmit optical data on the roadway. The first traffic lane model is stored in electronic memory in compliance with the data on lane boundaries revealed in optical data. Electronic horizon system traces the vehicle location to transmit the data on the road subject to said location for the second traffic lane model to be stored in said electronic memory in compliance with said data. Validity control unit compares the first and second traffic lanes with the threshold level to define the validity level. Output data selection unit selects the first model when lane boundaries are revealed in optical data, or the second model when said boundaries are not detected in said optical data and if validity level exceeds the preset level.EFFECT: precise determination of traffic lane at the absence of visual marks.9 cl, 7 dwg |
