摘要 The present invention relates to an apparatus for determining drowsy driving using a bio-signal. A bio-information sensor including a brain wave sensor, an electrooculography sensor, and a photoplethysmography sensor is positioned on the head of a driver. The brain wave, electrooculography and photoplethysmography of the driver are obtained. A head movement state signal is obtained from an acceleration sensor and a gyro sensor. Whether the driver is drowsy is determined by analyzing an obtained bio-signal and the head movement state signal and an alarm is activated. The apparatus for determining drowsy driving using a bio-signal, which determines whether to perform drowsy driving by measuring and analyzing the bio-signal of the driver, comprises: the brain wave sensor measuring the brain wave of the driver; the electrooculography sensor measuring the electrooculography of the driver; the photoplethysmography sensor measuring the photoplethysmography of the driver; the acceleration sensor; and the gyro sensor measuring the movement of the head of the driver; and a micro-controller analyzing a signal obtained by each sensor and determining drowsy driving when the signal is included in a preset drowsy driving determination reference area.
