The present invention relates to a lifting apparatus for a theater stage. The apparatus includes: a winding drum winding multiple wires which support a baton having a stage apparatus and are arranged on a ceiling frame to be lifted up and down, and movably installed onto the ceiling frame; a first guide unit which is installed onto the ceiling frame to face the winding drum and has multiple first guide rollers installed therein to curve the progressing direction of the multiple wires extending from the winding drum; a second guide unit which curves the progressing directions of the multiple wires extending from the first guide roller toward the baton; and a conveying unit which moves the winding drum, the first guide unit, and the second guide unit once the movement direction and the movement distance of the baton is input to adjust the location of baton.
